Does beef tallow clog pores?
This is the number one thing people ask, and it’s a fair question. Tallow is rich, but it’s made of the same fatty acids your skin already produces — oleic, palmitic and stearic — so it absorbs rather than sitting on top. It’s also whipped into a clay base here, not slathered on neat, and it rinses off after 10–15 minutes rather than staying on your face all night. That said, skin is individual. If yours reacts badly to rich textures, that’s what the 30-day guarantee is for.
Will it smell like beef?
No. Rendered tallow is filtered and deodorised before it goes anywhere near the formula. What you’ll notice is a faint honey warmth from the manuka, and that’s it. No added fragrance.
Why is it blue?
Methylene blue. It’s an antioxidant, and it happens to be intensely coloured. The blue rinses off completely with the mask — it won’t stain your skin or your towel.
Is it vegan?

Using it
How do I use it?
Swipe it over clean, dry skin. Leave it 10–15 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Three times a week. That’s the whole routine.
Can I leave it on overnight?
Don’t. It’s a treatment mask, not a moisturiser — the clay is designed to draw out and then come off. Leaving it on won’t speed anything up.
Can I use it with my other products?
Yes. It’s three times a week for 10–15 minutes, so it slots around whatever you already do. Apply your usual moisturiser afterwards if your skin likes it.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
The formula is six ingredients with no parabens, sulfates or added fragrance, which removes most of the usual irritants.
